📋 Description

• Support rural fiber projects by creating, modifying, and maintaining GIS designs. • Work with engineers and project managers to complete mapping tasks accurately and on time. • Maintain and update GIS fiber network data using ArcGIS Pro and QGIS, incorporating field audits, as-builts, and construction drawings. • Digitize and edit vector data according to project-specific standards. • Create basic network maps and reports for planning, permitting, and engineering phases. • Transform and tailor geospatial data from public sources and across formats for project needs. • Apply geoprocessing tools and perform QC/QA checks to ensure data integrity and topological correctness. • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and GIS teams to meet deadlines and maintain JSI standards.

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3+ years of GIS experience. • Certificate or degree in GIS, engineering, or a related field. • Proficient computer skills. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
