📋 Description

• Advance the client's Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) program through leadership, structure, and operational excellence • Serve as the central coordination point between Product Management, Program Management, Engineering, Architecture, Security, and executive stakeholders • Own and manage the team's Product Backlog • Translate business objectives, functional requirements, and architectural designs into Product Backlog Items (PBIs) • Partner with cross-functional teams to align delivery with enterprise priorities • Establish and reinforce Agile delivery structure within the PMO governance model • Drive backlog refinement and ensure work meets the Definition of Ready before sprint planning • Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, blockers, sequencing issues, and impacts • Coordinate stakeholder alignment on priorities, timelines, and scope • Communicate delivery progress and emerging risks to technical teams, management, directors, and executives • Support release planning and execution • Foster collaboration across Security, Identity, Infrastructure, Architecture, QA, and Product organizations • Create repeatable delivery processes that improve transparency, accountability, and execution maturity • Act as servant leader for the CIAM delivery team by removing obstacles and driving work to completion • Maintain awareness of organizational dynamics in complex, matrixed environments

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile software delivery environments • Experience supporting IAM or CIAM initiatives • Experience leading cross-functional delivery involving engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders • Ability to operate within complex, highly matrixed organizations • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, backlog management, user story refinement, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria • Experience translating strategic initiatives into executable work with Product and Program Managers • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, including presentations to technical teams and executive leadership • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Experience identifying and managing delivery risks, dependencies, and competing priorities • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaboration-heavy environments with frequent meetings and evolving priorities • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to structure ambiguous situations • Experience working West Coast business hours, including regular late-afternoon meetings • Preferred: software engineering or technical leadership experience • Preferred: PingFederate, PingOne DaVinci, or similar CIAM platform experience • Preferred: Azure API Management, Cosmos DB, F5/Shape, or related identity infrastructure familiarity • Preferred: identity integrations for customer-facing or mobile applications • Preferred: fraud prevention, governance, and risk management solutions such as Outseer • Preferred: financial services or other highly regulated industry experience • Preferred: Fiserv Corillian or similar digital banking platform familiarity • Preferred: ability to interpret technical architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, and system integration documentation • Preferred: governance and delivery structure implementation during Agile or PMO transformation
