📋 Description

• Provide leadership for estimates and proposals, including cost analysis, estimate coordination, and development and review of trade takeoffs and internal pricing • Oversee all capital bids before submission • Delegate new customer opportunities within the estimating team • Evaluate subcontractor cost estimates and proposals • Prepare and review self-perform estimates and assemble final estimates for owners • Drive and maintain National Opportunities Reporting • Perform productivity analysis of cost estimates and compare scope, quantities, and cost data between projects • Negotiate with and engage in subcontract solicitation during bidding • Maintain master subcontractor/vendor lists by trade • Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier bids • Deliver excellent customer service, operational excellence, and strategic insight • Maintain company quality standards with subcontractors and vendors in a high-volume bid environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience performing the listed primary responsibilities • Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word, and estimating software • Demonstrated experience with heavy civil construction projects, specifically water/wastewater treatment plants and process piping • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, vendors, and clients • Exceptional time management and customer relation skills • High attention to detail • Ability to assist with writing proposals and reports
