📋 Description

• Develop, maintain and update content that exemplifies Kemper’s brand voice across corporate and business lines • Communicate, position and promote Kemper’s brands, marketing programs and products • Write compelling, original, engaging and compliant content • Rewrite and update articles and content to optimize SEO • Research organizational needs and target audiences through existing information, research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings • Craft, edit and upload copy for social posts, blog posts, brochures, print and digital ads, emails, training materials, website content, video scripts and more • Manage all elements of content creation from brainstorming and copy concepts through final website upload or print deployment • Collaborate with internal teams to create copy that drives strategic results • Maintain brand standards and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in a corporate brand and marketing-focused writing environment • BA in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience • Outstanding creative and technical writing ability • Experience using SEO best practices to enhance content and online presence • Diverse portfolio demonstrating authored and edited content for digital and print media • Writing samples required • Effective relationship, teamwork and communication skills • Excellent editing and proofreading skills • Proficient knowledge of MS Office • Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Impeccable attention to detail • Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, clear language for broad audiences • Bilingual Spanish preferred • Insurance field experience is a plus • Sponsorship is not accepted for this role
