📋 Description

• Own end-to-end P&L for the eastern region, driving rate strategy, loss ratio targets, and expense management • Lead, develop, and set performance expectations for a team of two state managers • Define and refine pricing strategies and risk frameworks for eastern states • Translate complex data into actionable decisions that strengthen competitive positioning • Present pricing and risk insights to executive leadership and regulatory bodies • Build and maintain regional dashboards and risk KPIs • Own regulatory modeling and compliance strategy for the eastern region • Apply AI and data tools to surface emerging risk patterns and improve pricing accuracy • Drive continuous state optimization across profitability, growth, and competitive positioning • Lead cross-functional problem solving with pricing, actuarial, product, and operations teams • Establish a clear pricing and risk roadmap for the eastern region • Improve state-manager clarity, accountability, and independence • Provide eastern-region data and insights for high-stakes business decisions • Make regulatory interactions proactive and well-supported

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of pricing, risk, actuarial, or advanced analytics experience • At least 7 years carrying direct P&L or regional business ownership • Proven track record leading a pricing, risk, or analytics function with full accountability for strategy, team performance, and business outcomes • Experience managing state- or regional-level budgets and headcount • Demonstrated ability to hit financial targets • Deep expertise building and interpreting executive dashboards, risk KPIs, and performance reporting • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-state regulatory environments and translate compliance requirements into actionable strategy • Comfort using AI and data tools to enhance analytical workflows, identify risk patterns, and inform pricing decisions • Strong presence with executive leadership and external stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to triage competing priorities across a complex portfolio • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment and adapting quickly • Track record of developing direct reports and building a team culture rooted in accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement • Must be able to live and work full-time in one of the listed eligible U.S. states
