📋 Description

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality • Maintain quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified • Responsible for on-site safety, including safety audits • Assist with routine equipment trial runs to ensure specifications are met and equipment is installed to Dematic standards • Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and/or customer • Assist with training contract labor and subcontractors in installing Dematic and other material handling equipment • Write concise, clear, and complete trip reports within the required timeframe according to Dematic procedures • Identify problems and suggest appropriate solutions for situations that are not difficult or complex • Travel up to 100% of the time to customer locations

🎯 Requirements

• Ten years (minimum) experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment • Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is preferred • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required • Associate's Degree preferred • Experience with quality assurance • OSHA 10 required • OSHA 30 preferred • Able to lift at least 50 lbs • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts • Knowledge in the use of personal computers, data base functions and communications • Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required • Possess a valid driver's license • Must be willing to travel 100% to customer locations • Must be willing to travel on short notice and be on call • Ability to push, pull, crawl, squat and walk around large construction sites in various climates and conditions
