📋 Description

• Build and maintain AI prototyping starter kits, repositories, and conventions • Write internal scripts, tools, and workflows to accelerate Product Design team work • Experiment with MCP Apps and emerging agent UI patterns • Monitor emerging AI tooling and enable the team on best practices • Build ongoing relationships with frontend engineers • Reduce drift between design and implementation systems • Collaborate with design systems colleagues, designers, and engineers to identify or revamp reusable patterns • Audit and reduce one-off patterns to improve cross-product cohesion • Contribute to documentation, usage guidance, and governance • Enable the team on design system changes • Establish high standards for visual quality, interaction design, and usability • Guide decisions about following conventions versus introducing new approaches • Partner with designers to improve consistency, polish, and accessibility

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Design Engineering, Product Design, Design Systems, or similar hybrid roles, rooted in design • Strong product and visual design instincts, especially for technical or developer-focused products • Technical fluency with modern frontend systems • Hands-on experience with AI tooling, prototyping workflows, or design-adjacent scripts and automations • Familiarity with Figma ↔ code workflows, including CodeConnect, design tokens, component APIs, Storybook, or similar • Experience working closely with designers and frontend engineers • Genuine excitement about AI-driven product development • Excellent collaboration and communication skills • Strong systems thinking and ability to balance short-term pragmatism with long-term scalability • Portfolio, site, and/or repo demonstrating visual and interaction design craft, AI prototyping and tooling, design systems, frontend collaboration, and meaningful impact
