📋 Description

• Provide fractional consulting services as an operational and financial staff member inside client companies • Collaborate closely with client senior management • Receive, match, route, enter, and pay vendor invoices; prepare accounts payable listings and 1099s • Process expense reimbursement requests • Prepare and process payroll and related journal entries • Assist with bank transactions, cash forecasting, cash transfer requests, cash account reconciliations, and check routing • Prepare weekly cash collections and aged receivables reports and assist with collections • Maintain month-end account reconciliations in compliance with accepted policies and procedures • Assist the finance department with activities as needed • Support Sales & Use tax, Delaware Franchise tax, and unsecured property tax (571L) activities • Perform month-end activities and balance-sheet reconciliations, including accrued and prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting • 4+ years of previous accounting experience • Proficiency with accounting and transaction systems, including QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Bill.com, and Expensify, in a user capacity • Experience with cloud-based accounting applications and platforms • Prior consulting experience is preferred • Strong organizational, analytical, and responsive communication skills • Detail-oriented • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, be proactive, solve problems, and learn new things • Outstanding PC skills with MS Office and Google Suite • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Willingness to answer whether current or future sponsorship will be required
