📋 Description

• Provide fractional consulting services to startup and emerging growth company clients as an employee of Kranz Consulting • Collaborate closely with clients’ senior management as an operational and financial staff member • Receive incoming invoices, match them to purchase orders, route approvals and payments, enter invoices into accounting systems, prepare weekly accounts payable listings, identify vendors for payment, and ensure timely and accurate vendor payments • Process expense reimbursement requests and prepare 1099s • Prepare and process payroll, including necessary journal entries • Assist with bank transactions, prepare weekly cash forecasts, prepare cash transfer requests, reconcile cash accounts, and route checks for signature • Receive incoming checks and prepare weekly cash collections and aged receivables reports • Assist with collections as needed • Maintain month-end account reconciliations in compliance with accepted policies and procedures • Assist the finance department with activities as needed • Support Sales & Use tax, Delaware Franchise tax, and unsecured property tax matters (571L) • Perform month-end activities and balance-sheet reconciliations, including accrued prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting • 4+ years of previous accounting experience • Proficiency with accounting and transaction systems, including QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Bill.com, and Expensify, in a user capacity • Experience with cloud-based accounting applications and platforms • Prior consulting experience preferred • Strong organizational, analytical, and responsive communication skills • Detail-oriented • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, be proactive, solve problems, and learn new things • Outstanding PC skills with MS Office and Google Suite • Legal authorization to work in the United States
