📋 Description

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients seeking accounting, tax, and financial services • Conduct introductory calls with prospective clients • Prepare service quotes based on prospects’ current and projected needs • Achieve and exceed sales goals by closing new business • Educate and guide prospective customers through their buyer’s journey • Monitor and nurture inbound leads with timely follow-ups • Conduct outbound outreach as needed to schedule introductory calls • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Kruze’s financial service offerings • Advise startup founders and operators on accounting and finance problems • Recommend appropriate solutions • Provide Sales leadership with updates on the sales pipeline and key metrics • Maintain and update Salesforce records, notes, and account details • Collaborate with Onboarding, Tax, Accounting, and finance teams • Communicate customer feedback and provide constructive, actionable input • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine the sales playbook and test new approaches • Attend internal meetings, training, and team planning sessions • Cross-train and collaborate to build business acumen across services and clients • Engage in ongoing professional development • Perform other duties supporting business needs as directed by management

🎯 Requirements

• Background in accounting or finance • Hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or an outsourced finance function, or a bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting • Experience in a client-facing role such as sales, business development, or client advisory • Willingness to work core business hours, approximately 8am to 5pm in the local U.S. time zone • Ability to discuss startup books, taxes, and financial operations with fluency and accuracy • Experience in a consulting or outsourced bookkeeping/accounting firm preferred • Experience selling accounting or professional services to business leaders preferred • Experience in an enterprise SaaS company preferred • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred • General understanding of the corporate tax filing process preferred • Experience working with early-stage VC-backed startups preferred • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment • Discipline, work ethic, healthy boundaries, effective remote-work strategies, and emotional intelligence • Ability to perform focused seated computer work for approximately 8 hours per day • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
