📋 Description

• Provide technical support for FAA programs and systems including FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS, and others • Install, repair, configure, test, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customer remote locations • Work remotely in scheduled and on-call capacities at customer locations within the assigned area • Travel occasionally to remote sites outside the assigned area to support FAA customer needs • Read, understand, and follow equipment drawings and task orders • Take notes and document work performed at customer locations • Work with the NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk by phone to resolve field issues • Maintain tools, test equipment, parts/electronics, truck stock inventory, and personal or company vehicle • Prepare proactively for assigned tasks before dispatch • Work outside regularly scheduled hours when needed to meet customer needs • Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure L3Harris and program-specific policies and procedures are followed

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience • Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record • Ability to obtain a FAA Public Trust or a U.S. Government Security Clearance • Able to read, understand, and follow equipment drawings and task orders • Good administrative skills for taking notes and documenting work • Ability to lift items up to 32 lbs. and use ladders and step stools to reach approximately 10 ft. • Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCNA Wireless, or A+ preferred • Working knowledge of cable connectors, fiber, multiplexers, network topology, Frame Relay, Fractional T-1, SONET, ATM, private line, voice and data applications, and AC/DC power testing preferred • Familiarity with 24V DC and 48V DC power supplies preferred • Experience with T1, DS3, digital BERT, and analog VG network/circuit testing preferred • Working knowledge and use of network test equipment preferred • IP-based knowledge and experience configuring routers and switches preferred • Experience installing equipment racks preferred
