📋 Description

• Develop programs and conduct financial, business systems, and operational audits • Audit internal controls, procedures, time and labor charging, pricing, estimating, unallowable cost accounting, property, and Mandatory Disclosure under FAR, DFAR, and CAS • Review, research, analyze, and resolve issues raised by government auditors • Prepare reports summarizing audit findings and review findings with management • Make recommendations and prepare cost impacts or technical position responses • Interface with government and customer auditors • Lead or support all stages of the Incurred Cost Proposal under FAR 52.216-7 • Develop and prepare Incurred Cost Claims across multiple segments and divisions • Provide audit support and guidance to resolve discrepancies or disputes • Perform and coordinate audit fieldwork supporting business systems compliance across the enterprise • Support internal controls evaluation, audit planning, and risk assessment • Document process workflows and audit walkthroughs with process owners • Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with test plans • Use analysis techniques and tools to improve audit risk assessment procedures • Administer databases of audit controls, test plans, fieldwork, assignments, data requests, and results • Assimilate audit testing data and communicate findings to management • Perform regulatory reviews and assessments against CAS standards and FAR cost principles • Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, HR, Procurement, Legal, and Contracts departments to meet DCAA and DCMA audit deliverables • Review financial records using fundamental accounting knowledge • Provide financial analysis support, including reconciliations, data mining, reporting, and audits of indirect and unallowable cost accounts • Track and monitor requests from and responses to audit agencies • Develop and modify policies, procedures, internal controls, and practices • Support training efforts within the Regulatory Compliance Program

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior government compliance experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior government compliance experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior government compliance experience • Comprehensive knowledge of DFAR Business Systems, Incurred Cost Proposal, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), FAR Supplements, and Cost Accounting Standards • In-depth knowledge of project management • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), PCAOB standards, GAAS, and IIA standards • Knowledge of internal control systems, cost accounting, and general ledger • Understanding of automated accounting systems and computer applications • Ability to manage large, complex project initiatives with minimal oversight • Internal/external financial or compliance audit experience preferred but not required • Government contractor experience preferred but not required
