📋 Description

• Design and create printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for circuit card assemblies (CCAs) • Place components within specified size envelopes and route metal traces • Hold milestone reviews with design and manufacturing stakeholders • Release PCB and CCA drawings • Ensure electrical, physical, manufacturing, and assembly requirements are met • Develop drawings and documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly • Rework PCB designs when engineering design changes occur • Assist the design team in resolving design issues • Update drawings and documentation based on engineering change requests • Create ECAD library footprints and schematic symbols as required • Support backend management and maintenance of ECAD tools

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or graduate degree and minimum 4 years of prior related experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related experience • Multiple years of experience in PCB design or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in PCB design • Competent skills and experience with ECAD software applications and related equipment • Experience with Siemens Xpedition software desired • Knowledge of PCB design technologies and PCB layout techniques • Knowledge of electrical schematics and PCB fabrication and assembly drawings • Knowledge of IPC design standards, including design for manufacturability • Knowledge of ASME/ANSI documentation standards • Familiarity with IPC-2221, IPC-2222, IPC-6012, IPC-A-600, and IPC-A-610 • IT experience supporting backend management and maintenance of ECAD tools such as Siemens Xpedition and EDM • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and/or IPC CID certification desired • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering beneficial
