📋 Description

• Design and develop plumbing system layouts, including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and gas piping • Use Revit to produce detailed plumbing construction documents and coordinate with other disciplines • Manage design schedules, deadlines, and deliverables • Select plumbing equipment and fixtures according to project specifications and industry standards • Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders • Assist with site visits, inspections, and project documentation • Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers • Provide technical support and guidance to drafters and junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in plumbing design for commercial or industrial projects • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field • Proficiency in Revit for plumbing system design and documentation • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, industry standards, and best practices • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Employment may require successful completion of background checks, drug testing, and other pre-employment requirements • Preferred: experience with data center, industrial, or mission-critical projects • Preferred: familiarity with MEP coordination and integrated building systems • Preferred: ASPE or other relevant industry certification • Preferred: experience with sustainable plumbing design, LEED, and water-efficiency systems
