📋 Description

• Evaluate new and existing suppliers for capability, QMS effectiveness, and compliance with aerospace, industry, and CSP requirements • Conduct supplier QMS and CSP audits • Support supplier qualification activities with cross-functional teams • Develop audit criteria and checklists, document findings, and drive closure of corrective and preventive actions • Monitor supplier performance through data analysis, trend review, and evaluation of nonconformances • Investigate supplier-related quality issues, determine root cause, and ensure corrective actions are implemented • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities • Provide guidance to suppliers on QMS, CSP qualification requirements, internal process specifications, and industry standards • Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory, industry, customer, and internal quality requirements • Support internal, customer, and third-party AS9100 registrar audits • Become proficient in MSL systems, procedures, standard work, and databases • Comply with company policies and time-reporting requirements • Travel up to 60% or more may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience • Possess a valid state issued driver’s license • Experience in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and corrective/preventive action related to audit findings, escapes, and nonconformances • Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, and/or Lead Auditor certification preferred • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and develop action plans based on findings • Prior auditing experience required • Aerospace and defense experience strongly preferred • Knowledge of AS9100 QMS and CSP requirements • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, process requirements, quality clauses, and contractual flow-down requirements • Experience using Power BI, EXPO, Nadcap eAuditNet, and OASIS, as applicable • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including audit report preparation and cross-functional collaboration
