📋 Description

• Serve as an Empowered Official and Customs Compliance Official • Support facilities in Camden, Arkansas; Huntsville, Alabama; and Orange, Virginia • Establish and maintain relations with government licensing authorities • Analyze business initiatives against regulatory requirements and advise divisional management on compliant execution • Conduct employee training and assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures • Influence product development decisions through technical jurisdictional analysis • Prepare agreements for foreign employment, overseas manufacturing, and foreign partnerships • Train personnel on U.S. trade compliance requirements, including ITAR and EAR • Conduct denied-party screenings and resolve potential matches • Prepare export and import shipment documentation • Interpret government responses and provide trade compliance guidance • Apply for and manage Department of State and Department of Commerce authorizations • Deliver license- and agreement-specific training to program teams • Conduct internal control audits and support external government audits • Provide strategic export/import guidance • Oversee international travel and foreign visitors • Ensure compliance with export/import regulations, documentation, classifications, and record retention

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant trade compliance experience • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related trade compliance experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related trade compliance experience • In-depth knowledge of ITAR, EAR, FTR, OFAC, US Customs regulations, FDA, FCC, and ATF requirements • Ability to navigate and interpret complex regulations • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities • Ability to perform data mining and ad hoc reporting
