📋 Description

• Lead and manage Subcontract Managers, ensuring high performance and alignment with program requirements. • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. • Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives with a focus on quality, delivery, cost, and innovation. • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage and resolve supplier-related issues. • Proactively address and mitigate risks to ensure program success. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures. • Lead the supplier selection process and participate in negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms. • Monitor supplier performance through key metrics and implement corrective actions. • Prepare and present program status reports to senior leadership. • Travel required – 25% to 30%.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. • Demonstrated success in managing complex supplier relationships and programs. • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve results in a fast-paced, complex environment. • Willingness to travel and flexibility to work extended hours are required. • Must be willing and able to travel regularly to other Aerojet Rocketdyne facilities and suppliers across the country. • Demonstrated abilities in team building, leadership and delegation skills to achieve project objectives are also required. • Experience in leading, encouraging, reviewing and critiquing work of supporting team members to maximize program success.
