⢠Support LGBTQIA callers to the suicide hotline by providing crisis phone interventions ⢠Recommend appropriate referrals for available services ⢠Answer all phone lines in a timely and professional manner while meeting agency efficiency and customer satisfaction goals ⢠Assess clinical situations and needs of callers ⢠Provide safe and effective clinical interventions ⢠Complete thorough, clear, and accurate clinical documentation for data collection and funder reporting ⢠Forward internal referrals to appropriate programs with required information ⢠Collaborate with internal and external clients/customers ⢠Monitor call-in times for clients placed on a 72-Hour Suicide Watch or Safety Follow-Up ⢠Work beyond the scheduled shift when crisis situations warrant or paperwork is incomplete ⢠Attend required meetings and training, including those outside regularly scheduled hours ⢠Work evening and night hours as required ⢠Assist the hotline clinical coordinator in training new staff ⢠Maintain stocked program forms and a clean, organized hotline area ⢠Complete required reading and projects benefiting Crisis or other departments as directed by a supervisor ⢠Attend in-person meetings, training, agency activities, and events outside regular work hours upon request
⢠Must be an Arizona resident ⢠Excellent oral and written communication skills ⢠Clear and effective communication ⢠Strong customer service ⢠Strong problem-solving and analytical skills ⢠Ability to document detailed information ⢠Ability to multitask ⢠Ability to remain calm in crises, work independently and cooperatively, recognize personal limitations, and relate positively and with empathy to all persons regardless of age, race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation ⢠Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and agency policies and procedures ⢠Maintain a professional demeanor while working remotely from home and positive working relationships with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and community and business partners ⢠Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required ⢠Minimum of 3 years of experience in the behavioral health field ⢠Crisis experience preferred ⢠Supervisory experience preferred ⢠Program development preferred ⢠Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times
