📋 Description

• Develop and execute a global vision for integrating BioAnalytical Services into a comprehensive drug development product offering • Ensure annual quality, scientific, and client service targets are achieved • Formulate, develop, and implement plans, policies, and procedures aligned with department and corporate guidelines • Allocate personnel, space, and equipment resources to meet financial and budget expectations • Develop operational and scientific strategies aligned with business objectives for sustainable growth and innovation • Oversee development and renovation programs while ensuring company and regulatory compliance • Implement employee development programs to enhance scientific capabilities and operational excellence • Conduct performance appraisals and manage employee performance, career development, and expectations • Foster a stimulating and rewarding work environment and address performance concerns • Ensure the scientific objectivity, credibility, and expertise of the department • Enforce department safety programs in coordination with environmental, health, and safety personnel • Enhance employee communication and support recruitment and staff retention • Provide leadership and strategic direction to BioAnalytical Services • Provide strategic governance and leadership for global Project Management and Client Engagement functions • Drive strategy, organizational structure, and standardized processes for collaboration and stakeholder partnerships • Deliver integrated services and innovative solutions that accelerate scientific innovation, support sustainable growth, and achieve financial objectives • Own and execute Project Management and Client Engagement strategy to deliver a cohesive, integrated service model • Align project management capacity, resourcing, and infrastructure with organizational priorities and portfolio demands • Champion the BioAnalytical vision across the enterprise and wider Drug Development organization • Direct staff delivering BioAnalytical services and ensure client satisfaction on multidisciplinary drug-development projects • Collaborate with scientific and operational peers and cross-functional colleagues across BioAnalytical Services, Central Laboratories, Early Development, and Drug Development

🎯 Requirements

• BS Degree in Chemistry, biochemistry, biology, immunology, or related field • 10 or more years of supervisory and people management experience, preferably in an operational leadership role • 10 or more years leading client-facing, medium-to-large laboratory organizations • Full accountability for enterprise collaboration, project management governance, operational excellence, and sustained financial performance • Independent management skills and ability to implement department and company directives • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to motivate people and deliver exceptional results • Documented accomplishments reflecting teamwork, integrity, and accountability • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality results in a growing organization • Skilled in running meetings and projects • Skilled in time management, planning, and operational/process excellence • Expert-level communication skills • Skilled in project and portfolio management, managing change, and creating cohesive, engaged project management teams
