📋 Description

• Review and negotiate complex commercial leases • Advise on lease amendments, renewals, expansions, and terminations • Provide strategic guidance on lease risk allocation • Lead legal support for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects • Conduct and advise on due diligence matters • Advise business leaders on compliance with federal, state, and local environmental health laws • Support investigations, audits, and regulatory inquiries • Serve as a trusted advisor to business teams on real estate strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school • 5+ years of combined experience in commercial real estate and environmental health & safety (EHS) law • Active admission and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • 3+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating commercial leases • 3+ years of experience supporting real estate transactions and due diligence activities • 2+ years of experience advising business partners on compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations • 2+ years of experience counseling cross-functional stakeholders
