📋 Description

• Learn about clinical testing and processing behind testing development • Learn molecular techniques, including Next Generation Sequencing • Assist in complex data analysis and writing assignments • Apply critical thinking skills to experimental results • Communicate findings at laboratory meetings • Work with the Oncology Research and Development team in San Diego, California on developing or further improving an Oncology-focused assay or testing capability

🎯 Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Genetics or Biological Science • Previous and/or active Labcorp Internship required • Hands-on experience in a cell or molecular biology-based laboratory • Interest in the clinical testing or molecular research fields • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new things • 3-6 months experience with Next Generation Sequencing technologies preferred
