• Notify investigator sites, sponsors, and affiliates of laboratory results, exclusion flags, and test cancellations as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) • Monitor, track, and resolve accession holds and inform the Supervisor and Project Manager of delays • Update the database with appropriate information and inform personnel of additional testing needs • Support sites and sponsors with project-related questions via phone and email • Adhere to management communications, meetings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) • Assist and support management in implementing global processes and procedures • Track and report metrics within agreed timelines • Document and resolve service failures and escalate incomplete resolutions to management • Act as a liaison for internal and external clients • Communicate investigator site needs when new policies or procedures are discussed • Address and escalate patient safety issues • Establish mentor-mentee relationships with temporary and newly hired staff • Build trustworthy relationships with external sponsor clients • Deliver overviews of the Investigator Support department to other departments • Ensure seamless communication and follow-up with internal and external clients • Provide direct answers and advice to internal and external clients • Consider client needs when making decisions • Support continuous improvement, quality, and productivity
• 1 year experience as Investigator Support Coordinator • 1 year previous customer service experience • High school diploma • Computer literate and familiar with Windows based applications • Familiar with medical terminology • Self-motivated • Strong verbal skills • Attention to detail and good organizational skills • Team player • Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple distractions while maintaining a professional manner • Flexible • Preferred: Two years or more previous customer service experience, call center or telephone customer support experience • Preferred: Two years or more previous healthcare, medical or laboratory experience • Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree
