📋 Description

• Provide technical expertise and support within an assigned sales region • Support direct selling activities, including farmgate sales, nutritional consultations, and animal management consultations • Partner with sales and key dealers to call on large accounts • Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager and Sales Specialists to meet sales goals • Monitor research, market trends, and industry developments through associations, vendors, and competitors • Gather and analyze technical market data for strategic decision-making • Create content and deliver technical sales presentations at events, meetings, podcasts, expos, and conferences • Support development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics • Share dairy technical expertise through editorial reviews and marketing material development • Translate product science into consumer-friendly language • Respond to technical customer inquiries • Provide technical writing for reports and recommendations • Provide technical insights for product applications and new product development • Support service and new product launches

🎯 Requirements

• PhD or DVM with 5–9 years of experience preferred; Master’s degree with 10+ years field experience • Dairy industry acumen • Strong technical knowledge of species nutritional requirements and management • Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing abilities • Experience providing customer-facing technical support and training • Ability to translate complex science into practical, customer-friendly applications • Collaborative approach with demonstrated ability to work across departments • Ability to live within the North Central Division area • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
