📋 Description

• Calling on cattle, horse and small ruminant owners to evaluate existing feeding programs • Recommending and assisting with nutritional programs • Selling/consulting at the farm gate (up to 25 farm calls per week) • Developing new prospects and making sales cold calls • Organizing and conducting effective educational meetings/events for 4H clubs, vets, trainers, etc.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related agricultural field • Proven sales and industry experience may be considered without a Bachelor's degree • Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations • Understanding of animal husbandry, management practices, and nutritional guidelines • Work/life experience in management and care of dairy • Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office • Ability to be trained on ration balancing software (HerdSmart), Salesforce
