📋 Description

• Handle on-demand video and audio interpreting sessions • Interpret conversations between Ukrainian and English speakers across healthcare, government, insurance, financial, utilities, travel and hospitality, business, law enforcement, court, and 911 industries • Respond promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly, professional manner • Participate in online, video, and audio training sessions • Deliver interpretation via video and type data on a dedicated device • Render accurate concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol • Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and polite expressions • Maintain professional demeanor during interpreting sessions • Remain calm during emotional, difficult, or emergency calls, including 911 calls • Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours • Follow client instructions and interpretation protocols • Use appropriate terminology and understand procedures across medical, insurance, finance, and law industries • Work sensitively and effectively in a diverse environment

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency in Ukrainian and English and skilled in the associated cultural dynamics • Ability to provide cultural competency and assess regional and accent differences • Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills • Ability to remain neutral and objective during sensitive calls • Ability to adapt to LLS technology enhancements • Must be at least 18 years of age • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to read and write the requested languages – highly preferred • Dedicated personal device for business purposes • Windows, MacOS, or ChromeOS desktop/laptop, or acceptable tablet/smartphone • High-speed internet with at least 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload, ping no more than 300 ms, and jitter no more than 30 ms • Quiet space free from background noise or distraction • Ability to operate a keyboard and mouse and remain stationary before a computer and webcam most of the workday • Must use a headset for prolonged periods • Ability to operate company-provided software and systems • Sufficient manual dexterity to type or write • Able to lift up to 26 lbs • Post-offer pre-employment background check and/or drug screen may be required based on location
