Target Corporations Limited is a creative arm for New Zealand based Chartered Accountant Stephen Simpson and his wife Karen. The company is launching a crowdfunding platform called LaunchingPad, designed to bridge the gap between friends and family funding and investor and bank funding for individuals with innovative and creative ideas. The platform will also facilitate idea validation with end users and promote innovative products.

📋 Description

• Own a connected portfolio covering the data program, stage 1 instrumentation, AI implementation roadmap and cross-functional technology interface • Run the full project management cycle across data and analytics work • Coordinate measurement and funnel work with product and marketing teams against one agreed source of truth • Coordinate the conversion experiment programme across engineering, data, marketing and product • Manage the multi-year roadmap of workflow automations for named internal clients • Negotiate technology-team capacity for initiatives elsewhere in the organisation against a published priority list • Run a single intake path and classify incoming requests • Ensure accepted projects have scope, milestones, dependencies and dates before work begins • Maintain the published portfolio priority order • Plan capacity and document negotiated tradeoffs • Own stakeholder expectations, status, tradeoffs and dates • Maintain current boards and written monthly status reporting for leadership • Assess and document scope changes and mid-flight additions • Build quarterly demand forecasts for annual capacity and budget planning • Help shape the AI-supported project management system • Establish intake and charters, scope and dependency maps, RAID logs, change control, decision logs, status reporting and close-out reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in project management, including experience holding a portfolio of concurrent projects in a technical environment (data, engineering, platform or digital product work) • Formal project management training from PMI is desired — PMP, CAPM or equivalent PMI coursework; comparable formal training from another recognised body will also be considered • Comfortable working closely with engineers, analysts and designers; able to understand technical work well enough to scope it, sequence it and question an estimate • Proven track record of standing up intake, prioritisation and reporting where none existed and making it stick • Able to hold a priority list under pressure and say no with a reason to peers and senior stakeholders • Clear, direct, low-noise written communication • Advanced experience with Asana and Jira • Working knowledge of Notion • Strong interest in using AI tools to automate routine coordination and documentation • Commitment to the values of awareness, compassion and wisdom • Reliable personal workspace and high-speed internet • Standard work hours aligned with US Central/Eastern time zones
