📋 Description

• Coach and develop Special Education teachers and paraprofessionals • Monitor student engagement, progress, retention, and intervention data • Observe instruction and provide actionable coaching to improve teacher effectiveness and student outcomes • Lead IEP development, implementation, progress monitoring, and meeting execution while ensuring legal compliance • Set expectations, coach performance, celebrate wins, and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and service • Conduct frequent one-on-one coaching sessions focused on teacher growth, student outcomes, and accountability • Review outreach practices and coach stronger student engagement and relationship-building • Monitor IEP quality, implementation, progress reporting, and meeting execution • Ensure responsiveness, grading turnaround, communication quality, and documentation standards • Partner with students and families during escalations to resolve concerns and rebuild trust • Develop performance improvement plans when standards are not met • Facilitate team meetings, training, and professional development • Build and refine systems, playbooks, checklists, and operational tools • Support hiring and selection of educators • Support testing-window proctoring, including occasional travel • Serve students, families, and colleagues with professionalism, integrity, humility, and a white-glove service mindset

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field (required) • Teacher certification and an approved teacher preparation program (required) • Ability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other assigned states (required) • 5+ years of successful work experience in educational technology or related industry (required) • 5+ years of successful experience serving students, families, customers, or other stakeholders in a service-oriented environment (required) • 3+ years of experience managing people (required) • Ability to pass required background checks (required) • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and ability to navigate difficult conversations • Strong instructional leadership and coaching capability • Strong judgment in student, family, compliance, and personnel escalations • Ability to lead multiple priorities, deadlines, and direct reports in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle competing priorities • Independent work capability and effective remote team collaboration • Proficiency with Mac OS, Google Workspace, learning management systems, and task tools such as Asana • Willingness and ability to travel to assigned testing locations for proctoring • Fixed availability from 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Mountain Time (Denver), year-round • Full-time exempt role requiring at least 40 hours per week • Ability to maintain immediate responsiveness throughout scheduled hours • No concurrent work during scheduled hours; outside employment requires prior written approval
