📋 Description

• Ensure daily billing batches are cleared of all errors and ready for transmission • Collect patient payments, update payment methods, and setup payment plans • Conduct regular follow ups with payers and patients to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances • Understand insurance benefits and eligibility utilizing online insurance portals. • Read and interpret EOBs & ERAs • Identify, research, and escalate discrepancies on patient accounts • Return patient and clinician emails/voicemails within 48 hours of receipt • Demonstrate strong understanding of EMR and RCM platforms • Utilizes Microsoft Office (Excel) to analyze report data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors Degree required • 2 or more years of experience in behavioral health medical billing • Experience with high volume medical collections • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
