• Provide preventive/general maintenance, breakdown repair, troubleshooting and corrective actions to analytical and metallographic instrumentation • Perform new instrumentation installations as well as updates and upgrade kit installations • Provide training on theory, operation, software, and good maintenance practices • Ensure the work above is performed in accordance with LECO’s ISO accreditation
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills (both written and verbal) • Adhere to customer’s site and safety requirements while conducting yourself in a professional manner • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills • Attend instrumentation training at LECO Corporation in St. Joseph, Michigan for a period of 3-5 months • Complete field service training with experienced field service engineers throughout the country • Attend annual service training at LECO Corporation in St. Joseph, Michigan • Ability to travel daily with up to four overnight hotel stays per week (Monday – Friday) • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Pass a background check and substance abuse screenings • Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction • Should have a personal credit card, or the ability to obtain one • Strong mechanical skills, and previous experience with AC and DC electronics, or the ability to learn • Chemistry or military background is advantageous, but not required
