📋 Description

• Own the architecture, scalability, and reliability of the certification platform • Own the quality and technical realization of the certification product experience • Bring the engineering and user perspective into what the platform should build next • Take ownership of the instance and the remediation already underway • Work directly with the merchants and advertisers who use the portal • Define scope, set priorities, and translate business needs into sound technical design • Shape certification direction together with certification strategy leaders • Establish and enforce Salesforce engineering governance • Define architectural standards for when to solve declaratively and programmatically • Lead modernization where it earns its cost • Anticipate and resolve scaling constraints • Own security and reliability for an externally facing portal • Design and own integrations between the certification platform and broader CRM

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience • Deep, hands-on Salesforce expertise across both configuration and code • Production experience building and operating Experience Cloud (formerly Community) sites for external users • Strong command of Salesforce platform limits and scaling techniques • Source-driven development and release management • Integration design across REST and SOAP APIs • Demonstrated ability to inherit an unfamiliar or poorly maintained org • A product mindset • Experience working directly with users and business stakeholders • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Proven ability to influence without direct authority • Familiarity with the current Salesforce platform direction • Relevant Salesforce certifications are a plus
