• Partner with business leaders, supply chain leaders, and plant teams to drive value stream transformations • Deliver improvements in customer service, lead time, on-time delivery, quality, inventory, and working capital • Use VSM, transformation roadmap planning, and A3 thinking to develop and deploy targeted Kaizen, projects, and JDI • Implement MDI through the Legrand Way to sustain improvements and build a continuous improvement culture • Teach, coach, and develop others in the Legrand Way, problem solving, value stream mapping, Kaizen, MDI, visual management, and Lean tools • Execute and project-manage value stream transformation plans • Develop standard work and leader standard work to sustain transformed value streams • Work safely and efficiently while supporting Environmental Health and Safety goals • Teach and coach actionable Lean tools and methods through “Learning by Doing” • Support sites in developing leadership Lean mindset capabilities and driving value stream transformation • Travel to sites and support local teams on the ground; approximately 60% travel required
• BA/BS/ME degree in engineering, business, or related fields • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, including Lean framework deployment, Lean tools and methods application, value stream transformation, and Strategy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri) • Background in Operations Management, Project / Program Management, Industrial, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics • Demonstrated skills and results from value stream transformation using VSM, Shingijutsu-style Kaizen, and DMAIC • Expert problem-solving ability and coaching experience; ability to teach disciplined A3 problem solving and develop others • Demonstrated application of Lean Basics: DPM, 8 Waste, 5S, visual management, and standardized work • Demonstrated application of problem-solving methods: OBEYA RPS, A3, 8D, 7QC Tool, and Advanced PS • Demonstrated application of process transformation methods: VSM, One Direction Flow, line balancing, takt time, pull systems, SMED, Hoshin, and 3P • Demonstrated application of Kaizen frameworks: Transformation Kaizen, ideation events, basics, and charters • Understanding of Lean Logistics, productivity management, technical documentation, and digital systems including I4.0, MES, and routings • Ability to drive results across divisions and influence people at all organizational levels • Capability to manage large projects and stakeholders from LNCA Directors to the shop floor • Understanding of global materials management and supply chain/logistics management • Master’s degree preferred • Experience in Shingijutsu 3P preferred • Training from Shingijutsu, Lean Enterprise, or other recognized Lean experts preferred
