📋 Description

• Lead space planning and architectural design for government and institutional facilities • Ensure layouts meet FAA regulations and efficiently accommodate functional requirements • Develop conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction drawings • Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty consultants • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local building codes • Conduct detailed space programming, circulation analysis, and occupant load planning • Use specialized architectural and design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, BIM) • Utilize cost estimating and quantity takeoff tools (e.g., RSMeans, Bluebeam) • Support construction administration through submittal reviews, RFIs, and site observations

🎯 Requirements

• Architecture Degree from an accredited College/University • 8+ years of design experience with commercial, industrial and/or government facilities • Experience in evaluating building enclosures including roofing and below-grade waterproofing • Experience including design, failure analysis and Enclosure Commissioning activities • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability
