📋 Description

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP • Oversee General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statement preparation • Manage, coach, and develop the accounting team while building a high-performance culture • Maintain compliance with SOX, corporate accounting policies, and internal controls • Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations, Procurement, HR, IT, and Internal Audit • Support external audits and regulatory reporting • Develop scalable business processes for accounting period close that ensure accuracy when dealing with tight deadlines • Drive accounting automation, ERP optimization, and continuous process improvement • Research and document technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, leases, and complex transactions • Support budgeting, forecasting, capital investment reviews, and strategic initiatives • Provide financial leadership for energy-industry topics including project accounting, asset capitalization, operational cost analysis, and infrastructure investments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's preferred • CPA strongly preferred • 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience with public accounting and/or large corporate environments • 3–5+ years leading accounting teams • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and financial reporting • Experience with ERP systems • Public accounting experience preferred
