📋 Description

• Support development and review of Data Center Design Requests and technical documentation for network infrastructure projects across naval installations • Assist with layout manipulations, block updates, and device insertions using Request for Changes • Participate in data integrity verification, device status research, and quality control for configuration management databases • Collaborate with modelers and model curators to troubleshoot and resolve project implementation issues • Prepare importable data files and ensure compliance with Data Center Operations procedures and standards • Assist with site survey documentation and facilities impact assessments for infrastructure upgrades • Participate in digital engineering initiatives, including uploads to Cameo Systems Modeler and learning MBSE methodologies • Contribute to Standard Operating Procedures, process documentation, and technical guides • Support implementation feedback processing • Attend team meetings and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams

🎯 Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Engineering (any discipline), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field • GPA 3.0 or higher • Technical knowledge or skills in network design, technical drawing, database management, systems engineering, or IT infrastructure • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Ability to obtain a security clearance • U.S. Citizenship required • Preferred: Experience with database management, data analysis, or configuration management tools • Preferred: Knowledge of network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, servers, and storage systems • Preferred: Exposure to MBSE concepts or tools, such as Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML • Preferred: Understanding of IT service management frameworks or processes • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, or collaboration platforms • Preferred: Coursework or projects involving systems design, network architecture, or infrastructure planning • Preferred: Interest in systems engineering, network design, or IT infrastructure • Preferred: Previous internship or co-op experience in a technical environment
