📋 Description

• Manage delivery of engineering and professional services for substation protection and control, physical, civil and structural scopes for utility clients from 4kV to 765kV • Engage technical teams, review team progress, evaluate team effectiveness, and work through engineering and section managers to maximize program outcomes • Review program scope for contract and technical requirements and identify opportunities to deliver additional client value • Evaluate project and program schedule performance and improve schedule adherence • Assess cost performance and drive cost-saving measures across the program • Assess deliverable quality and develop processes and tools to improve service quality • Evaluate team technical skill sets and provide targeted training and technical skill building • Collaborate with section managers on engineering delivery, resource management, and performance assessment • Partner with the PMO to optimize program management and provide issue management and deep-dive investigation • Develop financial forecasts for program revenue and operating income • Work with the Business Development manager and Account Manager on larger client management initiatives • Support the Vice President of Transmission and Substation on assigned special projects

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Engineering • Ten (10)+ years of experience in electric utility engineering • Functional understanding of principles and practices of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery • Advanced understanding of the electric power utility industry • Strong written and verbal communication • Excellent team building and collaboration skills
