📋 Description

• Work with project managers and engineering leads to provide comprehensive Project Management Services supporting electric utility clients • Support the established Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure successful project delivery • Develop, monitor and maintain engineering and construction project budgets for transmission and distribution projects • Use earned value management techniques to align forecasts and costs, including developing recovery plans • Share team utilization metrics and address utilization concerns with AEP’s Center of Excellence (COE) • Partner with Engineering Leads and Managers to track and execute client deliverables • Develop and produce weekly/monthly project control reports for client and internal management review • Interface with clients and internal management to report progress, schedule and risks across electrical distribution project portfolios • Assist project managers with comprehensive project dashboards and KPI tracking

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related discipline • Three (3) + years of relevant project controls/cost analysis experience • Recent and in-depth expertise in electric power infrastructure projects within transmission, substation and/or distribution design preferred • Demonstrated work history of planning, organizing, directing and tracking technical efforts on assigned tasks • Capability to track cost and schedule status of assigned tasks • Ability to interact with customer representatives effectively • Strong writing and verbal communication skills required • Previous experience working with AEP preferred
