📋 Description

• Own Exact’s EHR HL7 interfaces, including internal EHR integrations and external order and result interfaces with healthcare partners • Coordinate technical design, analysis, validation, and issue triage for assigned interfaces • Collaborate with interface project managers, application teams, technical teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts • Mentor EHR Integration Analysts and create best practices for interface engine development and system integrations • Represent the EHR integration team on project teams • Develop new interfaces in the Corepoint interface engine • Configure interfaces within the Epic EHR system • Gather and document interface business requirements and configure interfaces accordingly • Manage the full interface application development lifecycle, from analysis and design through implementation, go-live, and support • Drive interface projects and coordinate with interface project managers to meet results and deadlines • Develop, write, and execute test plans covering product, quality system, regulatory, and design requirements • Monitor the health of live interfaces and proactively support issue resolution • Understand data structures and document technical specifications for target data elements • Analyze and manipulate external data for HL7 conversion and filing into target systems • Communicate with technical database analysts and non-technical business leadership • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, math, information systems, statistics, or related field • 5+ years of IT experience supporting system integrations • 3+ years of Interface Engine Development • Epic Bridges Certification • Ability to develop in Corepoint or another interface engine • Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and clearly communicate solutions • Ability to understand organizational requirements and their impact on technical solution aspects • Ability to work in a complex multi-communication-channel environment • Skill at tracking tasks, defining next steps, identifying owners, and holding people accountable • Ability to coordinate activities involving vendors, subject matter experts, interface engine developers, and end users to design, configure, and test interfaces • Ability to navigate HL7, XML, and HTML • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
