📋 Description

• Perform cost estimating for communications, sensor, and surveillance systems and supporting infrastructure • Develop and update life cycle cost estimates (LCCEs), independent government cost estimates (IGCEs), ad hoc estimates, and analyses • Conduct sensitivity and uncertainty analyses • Participate in program meetings and technical interchanges to remain current with program requirements • Review and reconcile estimates developed by other contractors • Present estimate results through verbal presentations, narrative reports, and briefing charts • Generate estimates according to DHS Headquarters and GAO Cost Assessment Guide standards • Provide cost information supporting contract awards, budgetary cycle inputs, investment decisions, and reporting to Congress, OMB, and other stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, finance, math, engineering, or a related discipline • 3–10 years plus of experience • Relevant cost estimating certifications with ICEAA or AACE desired • Previous work with CBP or DHS is a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and PowerBI • Experience with ACEIT and Crystal Ball software is a plus • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders • Ability to effectively solve problems • Strong communication skills, both oral and written • Team-oriented, positive attitude in a dynamic environment • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance use, and employment verifications • Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred • Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination
