📋 Description

• Support Leidos IT Software procurement • Negotiate favorable prices, terms, and other provisions of purchase orders • Ensure procurement policies and procedures are met under supervisor guidance • Administer purchase orders and maintain files • Create solicitations and conduct price analysis • Negotiate price and price-related terms • Review proposals and select or recommend suppliers • Apply knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, cost and price analysis, and regulatory compliance, including TCoPD requirements • Collaborate cross-functionally regarding policies, practices, and procedures • Review prime contract flow-down documents for compliance and to minimize company liability • Support internal and external audit activities, including purchase order file reviews and data requests • Support peer reviews of other Buyers

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a BA degree and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong Customer Service mentality • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Knowledge in government contracts is preferred • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities • Must have the interpersonal skills to work effectively with others within the team and collaborate cross-functionally • Costpoint experience preferred • Terms and Conditions negotiation experience preferred • Knowledge of build to print, fabricated parts, and components preferred • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and agency specific supplements such as the DFARS
