📋 Description

• Performing design reviews of civil/structural design components in support of bid/construction packages for substation projects • Leading projects as a senior engineer • Developing junior staff members • Conducting site-visits to client substation facilities • Occasional travel for client meetings and industry-related events • Ensuring compliance with quality control and safe work practices • Maintaining compliance with project scope, schedule and budget expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Senior Civil/Structural Engineer • 5+ years of experience within the utility industry • Strong educational background in design of steel structures, concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, and foundations • Experience reviewing substation structure design, rigid bus design, foundation design, oil spill containment design, retaining walls, masonry control shelters, and firewalls • PE License Required in PA, OH, WV, MD, NJ or the ability to obtain licensure in these states within 3-12 months • SE licensure is preferred • Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCAD software • Experience with RISA 3-D, STAAD.Pro, FAD, SAG10, and LPILE software • Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation • Strong analytical and technical writing skills
