📋 Description

• Provide sustainment-focused systems engineering support for Coast Guard digital transformation and lifecycle modernization initiatives • Perform reliability, maintainability, availability, and supportability analyses informing readiness and total ownership cost decisions • Establish, manage, and govern digital thread linkages across requirements, architecture, designs, configuration baselines, technical data, and sustainment/logistics data • Administer and configure PLM software, including workflows, change management, BOM/product structures, and system integrations • Support configuration management and technical data management, including change proposals, audits, baseline control, and technical data packages • Analyze sustainment requirements and develop technical recommendations • Develop CONOPS, requirements documentation, interface definitions, sustainment plans, workflows, and technical assessments • Translate operational requirements into traceable UAFML model artifacts • Build and maintain architecture models in Cameo Enterprise Architecture; execute queries, validation checks, and trade studies • Link architecture model elements to PLM-managed configuration items for digital thread traceability • Identify and manage obsolescence and DMSMS risks • Coordinate with cloud, cybersecurity, data, and application development teams • Participate in governance boards, configuration control boards, technical reviews, stakeholder meetings, and status briefings • Support technical roadmaps, PLM/digital thread strategies, and data migration plans • Monitor risks, dependencies, technical issues, and integration impacts • Contribute to continuous improvement, digital engineering standards, and operational readiness planning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline and 8–10 years of related experience, or 6–10 years with a Master’s degree; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Experience in sustainment engineering or product support engineering for complex systems, including lifecycle support planning, configuration management, and readiness analysis • Hands-on experience with PLM software such as PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter, including product structure/BOM management, change management workflows, and document/data management • Experience establishing and maintaining traceable digital thread linkages across the system lifecycle • Experience supporting complex federal IT, systems engineering, or modernization programs • Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes and requirements management practices • Strong written and verbal communication skills • U.S. Citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust and Secret clearance • Preferred: enterprise-scale PLM deployment, OCSMP Model Builder or equivalent MBSE proficiency, MBSE/PLM integrations, logistics product data and support standards, DMSMS/obsolescence management, and U.S. Coast Guard, DHS, or DoD program experience
