📋 Description

• Support the Federal Aviation Administration Eastern Service Area by providing construction oversight for projects • Coordinate with Project Engineers, Contracting Officer Representatives, and Contracting Officers • Monitor construction activities, report progress and issues, and ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and objectives • Provide on-site construction monitoring, coordination, and quality assurance services • Lead and manage large-scale construction projects and field operations as the primary point of contact for contractors, engineers, and stakeholders • Ensure contractor compliance with client safety policies, regulatory standards, and contract requirements through active field oversight and construction quality assurance • Monitor construction progress, identify risks, track deviations, and resolve complex technical and construction challenges across multiple disciplines • Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and work plans • Support engineering coordination, constructability reviews, and field-driven design adjustments • Support inspections, commissioning, and project closeout, including tracking and resolving punch list items • Maintain accurate reports and as-built documentation • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders • Develop solutions to complex technical problems requiring deep technical knowledge, independent analysis, and sound engineering judgment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) • 8+ years of experience in construction of commercial, industrial, or government facilities • Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans/specifications, building materials, applicable codes, and quality standards • Proven ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, engineers, and government stakeholders • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, and Outlook) • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gemini, and Drive) • Proficiency with construction software tools such as Bluebeam, RakenApp, or similar • Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends • Ability to meet travel requirements, including a valid driver's license and passport • Ability to perform essential field duties in active construction environments • Ability to navigate uneven terrain and varying environmental conditions • Ability to access elevated work areas using ladders and stairs, including up to 12 flights when elevators are unavailable • Ability to work in mechanical and equipment rooms with elevated noise levels and active airfield construction conditions • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
