📋 Description

• Conduct in-depth legal research and write and edit clear, concise, analytical, and practical tax legal content • Oversee licensing and procurement of content for CPAs and accountants • Develop and maintain content for CPAs and accounting professionals • Analyze and interpret legislation, case law, rules/regulations, legal news, and related materials • Write and edit articles and commentaries on current tax issues for practicing attorneys • Ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with legal and editorial standards • Use generative and agentic AI, automation, and data to streamline content development and editorial processes • Craft prompts, evaluate AI outputs, and iterate for optimal results • Track changes and trends in tax law, accounting, and related technology • Collaborate with Editorial Directors, Legal Editors, Product Managers, and cross-functional partners • Scope, outline, draft, edit, and quality-check analytical and practical content • Contribute to content development, licensing, and procurement strategy and execution • Develop expertise in accounting and tax law practitioners and market ecosystems • Identify and recruit authors and contractors; prospect firms and individuals, pitch projects, and negotiate agreements • Contribute to product pilots, tool and process evaluations, and standards development

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor required; advanced tax law degree preferred • Significant accounting experience required • CPA designation REQUIRED • At least 2 years of tax legal practice experience or equivalent • At least 2 years of accounting experience or equivalent • EBEC experience preferred • Proven analytical, legal, and accounting research and original writing skills • Ability to interpret AI outputs and integrate insights into legal content creation • Professional tax-specific legal and accounting analysis and writing experience preferred • MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Experience using LLMs for drafting, summarizing, and editing/revising • Proficiency in Lexis+, Lexis+ AI, Protege, or other legal research tools highly preferred • Tableau and Power BI experience a plus • Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills
