📋 Description

• Implement strategies for adoption, support, and optimization of clinical information systems • Enhance clinical workflows, data integrity, and system content to improve patient-care safety, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness • Collaborate with the MedHost Clinical Systems Director and team throughout the full system life cycle • Provide 24/7 support for assigned clinical information systems, including workflow, documentation, scheduling, ancillary, and imaging applications • Support change management, implementation, optimization, and upgrades of clinical systems • Manage facility support issues through ServiceNow and work with vendors to identify root causes and solutions • Create training and educational documents for system changes • Provide facility education and training and support ongoing user education • Communicate with clinicians, physicians, leaders, radiology staff, and other stakeholders to prepare staff for electronic clinical-system adoption • Collaborate with facility leadership and clinicians to align clinical workflows with electronic solutions • Collaborate with HITS and Health SupportCenter teams to remove barriers to adoption • Implement and support clinical systems and imaging-related functionality at assigned facilities • Track and trend issues across facilities and escalate them through resolution • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse • Minimum 5 years’ clinical systems, healthcare IT, or related technical experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities • Experience supporting imaging or ancillary clinical applications preferred • Ability to perform business mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting graphs • Moderate computer skills, including email, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, databases, and presentations • Ability to analyze and solve varied and complex business problems • Ability to make department-level decisions and recommendations • Functional independent judgment and problem-solving ability • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, including task delegation, project oversight, and resource allocation • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA • Skilled in applying policies and procedures • Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices • Regular and reliable attendance • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds • Ability to perform repetitive upper-body motion for extended computer use • Required close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and ability to adjust focus
