📋 Description

• Carry out assigned pre-construction tasks effectively and efficiently while adhering to company standards • Produce, edit, and coordinate 3D object-oriented models • Produce, annotate, and detail fabrication and field installation shop drawings • Participate in developing and improving workflows and standard operating procedures • Identify model-related issues for the project team • Maintain regular contact with the project team • Develop knowledge of BIM software, 3D design, and construction documents • Mentor newer team members • Attend and participate in virtual construction, clash detection, and coordination meetings • Infuse quality and labor savings into BIM efforts • Assist with BIM-related goals, initiatives, and standards • Develop ways to use model-based information across project phases • For VDC Specialist III: mentor and lead project and department team members, provide peer feedback, evaluate workflows, share best practices, act as point of contact in coordination meetings, and maintain relationships with designers, owners, and subcontractors • For VDC Specialist IV: strategize project modeling requirements, ensure correct Revit setup, create and maintain BIM schedules and bills of materials, monitor and quality-control BIM model health, and ensure adherence to scope, requirements, specifications, deliverables, schedules, and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the United States and be located within the Eastern or Central Time Zone due to required working hours • Associate’s degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar, preferred • Demonstrated knowledge and experience reading floor plans, sections, and elevations • Knowledge of BIM360, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Navisworks, Revit, and file-sharing platforms (required for VDC II and higher) • Demonstrated competency modeling from a 2D document to produce a 3D model • Construction experience preferred • Effective interoffice collaboration • Skilled problem-solving ability and a strong sense of urgency • Efficient organizational and communication skills • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Familiarity with design or marketing tools such as Canva or Adobe is a plus • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to perform essential job functions in office and/or active job site settings • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods • Ability to move about the office or jobsite as needed • Ability to operate standard office equipment and technology • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically • Ability to occasionally access materials, equipment, or work areas • Ability to occasionally move or transport work-related materials or equipment • Ability to tolerate moderate noise levels • Ability to travel to various work locations as required • Ability to work indoors and/or outdoors in varying environmental conditions • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance • Pre-employment drug screen required • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected • Successful applicant subject to a background check as a condition of employment
