• Collaborate with YouthLine leadership to plan and implement statewide outreach and engagement strategies • Identify opportunities to expand awareness, utilization, and accessibility of YouthLine services throughout Hawaii • Assess community needs, service gaps, and emerging trends to inform outreach and prevention priorities • Support development, implementation, and evaluation of statewide outreach initiatives and programs • Develop and coordinate outreach activities promoting YouthLine, youth mental health resources, and suicide prevention services • Deliver presentations, trainings, workshops, prevention education lessons, and other educational opportunities • Represent YouthLine at conferences, community events, coalition meetings, and public forums • Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, colleges, youth-serving organizations, healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies • Facilitate collaboration among community partners and support underserved and historically marginalized communities • Provide consultation, technical assistance, resource navigation, and capacity-building support • Connect partners with training, certification opportunities, and statewide resources • Track outreach activities, partnerships, training participation, and program outcomes • Maintain records and documentation for outreach efforts and grant requirements • Prepare reports and program updates for organizational leadership and funders • Participate in statewide meetings, task forces, committees, and collaborative initiatives • Travel regularly to schools, community events, forums, and meetings across Hawaii
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Public Health, journalism, marketing, or a related communications field • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in youth-serving, mental health, prevention, education, or community-based programs • Experience developing and maintaining community partnerships • Experience delivering presentations, training, workshops, or educational programming • Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership and team development skills • Strong public speaking, facilitation, and communication skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently • Demonstrated ability to build authentic relationships with diverse communities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based systems • Ability to travel throughout Hawaii, including occasional overnight travel • Reliable transportation • Flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays • Must have reliable local transportation • All employees must be approved to work by the Oregon Department of Human Services’ Background Check Unit • Master's degree, crisis intervention or suicide prevention training, and related behavioral health/community experience are preferred
