📋 Description

• Provide reliable, unbiased, empathetic English-Korean interpretation services • Bridge communication gaps for people requiring interpretation assistance • Complete English proficiency testing, medical terminology assessment, and live mock interpretation during onboarding • Complete background check and security screening • Sign an independent contractor agreement and confidentiality commitment, including HIPAA compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency in English and Korean • Dedication to delivering courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation services • Strong communication and organizational skills • English proficiency test: achieve a “technical proficiency” rating (level 3 or higher on the ILR scale) • Pass an online medical terminology assessment covering medical terms, anatomy, and physiology • Successfully pass a live mock interpretation evaluation • Background check and security screening • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and confidentiality commitment, including HIPAA compliance • Submit a resume • Submit certifications showcasing language skills or relevant experience • Mid-level experience • Prior Video-Remote-Interpreter (OPI) experience is a plus
