📋 Description

• Inventory and assess third-party applications and vendor platforms for communication and collaboration capabilities • Engage software vendors and product teams to identify communication features • Develop and maintain assessment questionnaires and evaluation frameworks • Document communication capabilities, retention options, compliance controls, and archiving capabilities • Identify regulatory, recordkeeping, and compliance risks • Determine whether communication features can be disabled, governed, archived, or integrated with Proofpoint • Partner with InfoSec, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders on remediation options • Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Copilot, and Forms • Gather requirements and facilitate meetings and workshops with internal teams and external vendors • Develop project plans, status reports, risk registers, executive summaries, presentations, and leadership-review materials • Track assessment progress, remediation activities, and vendor responses • Evaluate message retention, export functionality, journaling, API access, archiving integrations, compliance monitoring, and eDiscovery support • Collaborate on enterprise compliance-platform integrations, proof of concepts, and technical validation • Complete vendor-platform assessments within established timelines and deliver recommendations to Compliance, Legal, and IT leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field • 5+ years of experience in collaboration technologies, Microsoft 365 administration, compliance technology, or related disciplines • Strong knowledge of chat, messaging, voice, conferencing, and collaboration platforms • Experience working directly with software vendors and managing technology assessments • Demonstrated Business Analyst capabilities, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management • Experience managing projects and coordinating cross-functional workstreams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assessments concurrently • Experience with Microsoft Purview Compliance solutions preferred • Experience with Proofpoint Archive, Capture, Communications Compliance, or similar platforms preferred • Understanding of SEC, FINRA, recordkeeping, and electronic communications compliance requirements preferred • Knowledge of data retention, eDiscovery, legal hold, and records management concepts preferred • Experience with vendor risk assessments or technology governance programs preferred • Microsoft 365 or related industry certifications preferred
