• Conduct independent, remote case reviews evaluating medical necessity, appropriateness, or quality of care • Provide evidence-based assessments and written determinations following established clinical guidelines and review criteria • Perform utilization reviews • Handle appeals and hearings • Review quality-of-care and standard-of-care concerns • Uphold clinical integrity, neutrality, and objectivity • Complete patient record reviews and accompanying reports • Meet case turnaround deadlines while working independently in a secure remote environment
• Hold an active, unrestricted U.S. certification as a PA-C • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience • Currently practicing and seeing patients an average of at least 20 hours per week over the past 30 days • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail • Ability to review cases objectively and meet turnaround deadlines • Comfortable working independently in a secure, remote environment • Ability to sit, read, work on a computer, and watch a computer screen for extended periods • Occasionally able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, kneel, or crouch
• Fully remote work • Contract-based (1099) arrangement • Flexible workload with cases assigned based on availability and specialty • Compensation of $750 per completed case • Impactful work contributing to high-quality care and oversight
