📋 Description
• Conduct initial phone screenings with hospital staff to collect essential information for potential organ donor cases • Review electronic medical records and collaborate with the on-site organ team to evaluate donor suitability and optimize donation opportunities • Build and maintain donor charts and accurately enter data into the internal system • Partner with hospital staff and interdisciplinary team members throughout the organ donation process from referral to authorization • Complete records in compliance with regulatory standards and work with the Quality Department to ensure accuracy • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and quality assurance initiatives • Work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, three to four shifts per week followed by three to four days off • Work evenings, nights, and weekends as required
🎯 Requirements
• Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, or Paramedic/EMT • Current experience working in a critical care or emergency care setting required • Ability to obtain and maintain ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification • Familiarity with EMR systems including Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or internal EMR systems • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software • Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment • Must work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, three to four shifts per week • Must regularly work evenings, nights, and weekends • Must be available to work weekends regularly or as needed
