• Identify and maintain accurate lists of eligible cardiovascular patients for registry inclusion • Abstract clinical information from medical records according to registry data dictionary standards • Submit required registry data within established timelines • Perform routine data validation, quality audits, and registry scrubbing • Collaborate with cardiovascular program leadership, physicians, and clinical staff to verify, validate, and improve registry data • Assist with audits, data validation reports, and quality improvement initiatives by retrieving and analyzing registry information • Review registry outcomes and support efforts to improve quality, patient safety, and program performance • Participate in cardiovascular service meetings and continuing education opportunities • Maintain compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical, health information, or quality services experience in a hospital setting • Knowledge of human anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare statistics preferred • Experience with clinical registries, quality improvement, or cardiovascular services preferred • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail • Critical thinker able to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams • Skilled at maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information professionally • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and eager to learn new software applications • Must comply with pre-employment screening requirements if offered employment • Must maintain privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance
